I haven't read all the replies and I'm sure it was mentioned before, however, people who say "know what I mean" after each statement.

The one that really irks me in that regard is Rock Auto. Apparently, not all items are stocked in every warehouse. Never seems to fail, if I order multiple items they come from at least 2 different warehouses, with separate shipping charges for each.

Do they offer a choice? Others, ie Amazon, let you decide if you want everything shipped together (slower but cheaper) or shipped separately (faster but extra fees).

Not as far as I can tell. In the past I've tried selecting different brands of the same item to try and find ones that all shipped from the same warehouse, but with no luck. It's almost like (for example) brake parts all come from one warehouse, heater cores from a different one, etc.

I ordered 3 cases of food for my cat, they came as three separate orders
