after the tornado i am finding canceled checks from tupelo ms in my fields .i am about a 100 miles from tupelo.i hear that stuff from north al is being found in tn.

Every spring before first cut I walk the edge of our dirt road removing rocks dislodge by the snowplow. Never fails, if I put a fresh edge on the three blades of my 60" mower deck I find the one rock I missed.:mur: So now after 5yrs I'll make the first past without a fresh edge

Yesterday I found this thing in a boggy area by my field. Today I hauled it out.

I still don't know what it is, but here is my thread where we are guessing. If you think you know, feel free to share.

i found only old rusted wrenches ,pliers,couple old horse shoes and pieces of chains,never anything of any value
I also had three flat rear tractor tires,1 from a broke cultivator shank,1 from an old plow share and one from a huge 5 point white tail antler.Got 6 holes in that tire, 5 from the spikes and 1 from the bowtine.

A friend of mine got caught a few years back fishing in a posted coal strip pit.
The owner told him to pack up and get out so Lee picked up his rods, tackle box, and a black trash bag.
When asked what was in the bag Lee told him he always brought it to clean up the c--- other people left behind.
The owner said "so you're the one, I knew someone was cleaning up but didn't know who".
He had permission to fish there for the rest of his life!
My father taught me not to leave trash, then the Boy Scouts, then when I started caving.
Pisses me off to find it, makes me want to pick it up and drop it in the front yard of those that left it behind.

Well, I found an old horse drawn rake yesterday, with the MMM of course. I've mowed that section of 12 yrs, never saw it. :confused3: Doncha love surprises? :thumbdown: :drink: Nice set of dents, not nicks, in all 3 of the blades. Time for a new set. :smiley_aafz:

y'all sure find neat stuff.

all I usually find is old tires or rims thrown ove rthe fence onmy property.. or balls of unused barb wire that wrap around my mower shaft..

My phone line....... who the heck laid it so shallow.....

and a grow op in the way back section of the property. They dug a pond, flipped a pick up truck into it to put their water pump on it, and then painted over two hundred tires green and laid them down, filled them with nice soil.... Bags of empty fertilizer everywhere and three big containers where I guess they mixed the fertilizer. Its really wet back there and **** to get in to.... I am hauling the tires out with the tractor and when I get about fifteen, I fill up the truck and then its off to the dump. It will take me years to clean that up.
