Welcome to TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Which attachment will work best to move snow depends a how much snow needs to be moved.
I have a FEL mounted blade on my B2910. The most snow I have moved with it is 14". Click Here.
If you do not have open areas to plow the snow into, then a snow blower may be a better selection. If you do not mind looking behind, a rear blade or snow blower would work good.
What is your location?

When posting it is best to post with cap locks off. It is a form of yelling on the Internet.

I had a front blade for my 4115 and it worked fine. I did run into a problem from time to time running out of room for snow. If I had it to do over (or I do it again) and money was no object I think I would go with a front mounted blower.

WELCOME TO THE FORUM!! as Ronh says alot depends on how much snow and how often. my personal preferrce is my FEL with the rear blade, we do get a lot of snow and blower would be nice but i don't like working backwards and won;t give up the fel for front blower, course my drive is only 100ft.

Thanks for the response!!! Sorry about the caps, rookie mistake. I am located in Northern VA. Snow is between 0 & 30", you never know. This driveway does have drop off on both sides so no problem w/ pushing. I'm a little concerned abount running over the snow 1st then pushing w/ rear blade. Traction issue?? I noticed you had turfs, I was thinking industrial. Front blade quote was 2,000 vs 450 for rear & I don't want to give up the FEL. Blower sounds nice but again no FEL and maybe lots of snow in face !! How about the price??

You could go with a rear 3PH blower and you would still have the FEL available. It should be about half the cost or less of a front mount blower - probably about the same as the front blade or a little less, depending on brand and model. Whether that's workable might depend on how twisty and steep that 525' of driveway is.

Since you are still looking for a tractor. You get the quick coupler for a 402 FEL. Here is a thread on the subject. Click Here. This will allow you to change FEL attachments quickly.

I noticed you had turfs, I was thinking industrial.

I have found that Turfs work very well for my area. I have chains but have never used them. If you get Turfs you will need wheel spacers to get clearance for chains. Others that have R-4s use chains even in mud.

I do not have loaded tires. But the back blade is heavy duty and weighs 500 lbs. The front blade weighs over 600 lbs. The combination seems work good for pushing the largest snow banks without stopping the tractor.

The rear blade is over sized for the B2910. My dealer recommended that I install the Heavy Duty top link bracket that is required for the B4960 backhoe on most Kubota tractors. Here is a link to a thread on this subject. Click Here
I recently filled my weight box with cement. It works as well for counter weight as my rear blade. But does not give any plowing ability at the rear. Weight box is smaller than back blade and gives more maneuverability.

Check out Curtis. Price is about right with a valve and install. I did not mount my Curtis blade the way Curtis recommended. I added a valve to do the angling. Cutis FEL brackets will not fit the quick coupler above. I had to modify them to fit.

I have a B7800 (same machine, less creature comforts), I am located by Fredericksburg, I don't use the FEL when moving snow. I use my rear blade. Now, two years ago? I recall using the FEL (after removing the teeth) to pile up the snow. That was the only time I used it for that. There was that much of it.
It was fun.

So, I guess you can say, I run over it before I move it aside.
Works pretty good for me.
