Oh wow!!! I rarely watch the national weather. Didn't realize you were getting hammered. We are cold but dry. Supposed to continue that way to the end of the month.

One thing I've noticed thru life. If the N.E. gets hammered, we have an easy Winter. Sorry my friend.....

Have spent hundreds of hours in a JD grader pushing a plow. That's a "D" model. Started with a "B" model, then "BH", then two "CH", then "D", now on my second "G". "D" model was my favorite.

Although as I get older I wish less for big snow. Wind is our enemy here. We rarely get a foot of snow. 4" of snow with 30mph wind is worse than a foot with no wind....

When I was young, graders used their blade to push snow, not with a plow on the front.

I only use my plow when it's drifted. The moldboard is 27" tall. So a no wind snow doesn't require the plow.
