This is a man you can really trust/ Tilt Meter

I bought a new Kubota M108X after owning a Ford Versatile for 15 years so since this new tractor will probably be my last, I'm getten there.., and I don't want to upset it I started reading to see if I could somehow find out how to avoid upseting my tractor, a search brought me to TractorByNet, I have never seen so many helpful people in all my life, they really go out of their way to give you good information or where to get it, well after asking and reading I came across this man who said he sold tiltmeters, but what really struck me was that he gave some guy a tiltmeter after the person had smashed it while bushcutting, he never even thought of asking for a replacement unit, but Rick Hedgecock, President of R&B Manufacturing just up and sent him a new unit, free of charge. Well this really got my attention so I thought this might be setup, some people on the net are not really honest but they can make you think they are, I continued to read and I saw post after post about Rick and they were all positive. I decided to give it a try, I live in New Brunswick Canada and when I contacted Rick he directed me to a retailer in BC telling me that it would be cheaper for me since the shipping to Canada was quite high, the person in BC didn't have one in stock and said it would be cheaper for me to go direct to Rick, which I did, Rick offered to reduce the price of the tiltmeter to help off set high shipping cost, I was happy and again impressed with Rick, Rick shipped me the tiltmeter and the total cost including shipping was $56.50 US, in a few days the meter was at my home in New Brunswick, the only problem was that the courrier wanted another $40.00 for their charges, I said I had paid for shipping and would not be paying any extra so I refused the parcel, I wrote Rick and explained the problem and immediately he offered to refund my money, I then asked him if he would mind sending me the meter by parcel post when he got it back, again Rick agreed and sent me a replacement unit which I received today, no charges even though I offered to pay the extra postage since he would have to pay for the shipping by parcel post.

I must repeat, people like Rick Hedgecock, President of R&B Manufacturing are rare, if the world had more like him we wouldn't be in the mess we see today, I am a religious person and I am sure Rick is also, he will be rewarded in this life and the next.

Some tractor owners say they don't need or want a tiltmeter and that's a choice they have a right to make. I did have them on my little Kubota and liked them. And, as you say, I've never heard anyone have a complaint with Rick or his company.

I bought one from him as well, I remember a fellow who was deployed to Iraq posting about ordering one from Rick because he was worried about his wife using the tractor while he was overseas. Rick not only provided it free, he went over there and put it on. He may not have known it, but he sold me one right then and there as soon as I read that.

Ya Rick is a great guy. He use to post on the forum and I miss seeing him around. Last I remember he was working on a jeep project.
