I was thinking that myself. It makes me wonder if they actually gave it away or maybe it's buried out in yet another pile of grass and they can't find it.

The listing may stay, but I dropped him a note telling him to check the year. I suspect that he meant 1962...

An even worse CL ad: title 'Tractor $1'. I looked at his photo and it was just what I've been looking for for years, a YM186D with loader and the very rare Power Steering. But $4,500, more than I wanted to pay.

Then, worse yet for the seller, next time I looked only a couple of days later he had lowered the price a thousand dollars because no one had responded to his ad. I phoned and ran down there with some $100 bills for a deposit to hold it. Score! My photo.

Yes, it's a nice tractor. I wrote the seller said that, but advised him he might want to check the year. He thanked me and changed it to a 1957... he is selling an elderly gent's collection for him.
There is a lot of work there... I envy anybody with the patience and talent to be able to do that.

Not to mention the fact that if he can get $8300 out of that old tired Long, he is a better man than me.!

But check out that bucket extension ! Has to have least doubled the bucket size.
