The disappointing part is that if it was real, I would still be interested in paying fair market value for it. It's gone now, apparently I'm not the only one who thought it was fake.

Probably a scam.Craigslist is full of similar too good to be true offers.

That was my second clue... the first was the low price. It was a teaser for me though as I indicated before... chances are they stole the ad from a site someplace and changed the price.
If that was that case I would love to see the real thing.

They're just doing it to make me drool. Although I would prefer a manual tranny, I would still love to find that exact truck in halfway decent condition... for a reasonable price.
