Thats what I was getting at. Why is the CK overkill, really? Just a gut feel on your part? If you go to lift one of your boulders and the CX can't do it, was it undersized? (yes). So yeah, the CK2610 is larger. Do you have specific space/storage/width concerns? Would the front snowblower be the same width on each tractor? My dad does snow removal on a huge paved driveway and parking area with a JD 2210 and its dinky 54" front blade - it takes him hours each time. Meanwhile I only need one pass in each direction with the 84" blade behind my CK3510.

Tractor size = productivity. It makes sense to go as large as you can easily accommodate on your land, in your storage, etc.

I often feel like my CK3510 is a bit small. The loader is strong, but a little more flexible than I would like. And easily lifts the rear of the tractor up with anything less than the full counterweight of the backhoe mounted. I specifically upgraded to this machine for loader capacity - logs in the grapple, bigger full buckets of soil/gravel for less trips, full IBC totes of firewood, etc. Need enough machine to get the jobs done in an efficient manner.

Both cabs are heat and AC. What the CK2620 has over the Cx2510 stock for stock is, telescopic 3pt hitch, link peddle, 2nd rear remote, 3 speed hst, independent pto, led headlights, and much higher lift compacities. But again, much larger. The Cx I can add the telescopic 3pt and link peddle for $450. And it needs wheel spacers with the cab. Looks tippy sitting still from the rear.

I have a little over 100hrs of seat time in the CX and it does not feel tippy in stock form in my opinion, now my BX that feels tippy stock and I did add spacers to it. I didn't see the point of the 3 range hydro as low seems like a creeper range and other than tilling I don't have a use for it. Independent or live pto,, the BX has independent and the CX live other than the engagement procedure it functions similarly. Second remote,, I haven't used the first one yet and have no implements that require one. Nothing wrong with a CK, in fact I spent a week mulling it over myself but determined it was to big for my needs on 4 ac. I did after all start out buying another sub compact with a cab, heat, and ac but that came to a quick stop with the ac requirement. The CX checked all the boxes for my needs and at a better price point than the other orange.

I made dicision today. Got the CX2510. I got quotes on implements I would get, and all were bigger and more money on the CK. So even tho the tractor was $3100 more, adding snowblower and rear blade to match the CK added another $3000. So knowing it's overkill anyway, and seeing how much more for implements are, made choice easier. So now it's just a waiting for it to be delivered.

They have tractor in stock. So they just need to get a 60 inch bucket to swap the stock 50 inch. Then add 2 inch spacers, link peddle, telescopic rear links, load tires, radio, weld hooks on bucket, and bolt on cutting edge. Snowblower won't be in for another month.

Then ordered a landpride rb1672 rear blade with hydraulic angle. But again a month out.

Good idea going with the 60" bucket, among the other options; you truly have a machine for all seasons. If you don't mind, where are you from? That would be an excellent machine in northern climates!

The 50inch was just too small for that tractor. Should be a min of 54 inches. Outside of rear tires was almost 52 inches. Why put a bucket that is narrower than tires??. No other tractor does that. So with the spacers I'm adding, the 50 inch won't work. So owner said he would swap bucket at no charge.

I am in the same boat as @Templecruiser . I went and looked at a Kioti this past week. The salesman kept pushing me towards the CK2520, but it is quite a bit of a tractor. It is like he didn't even want to talk about the CX. An analogy that I could think of was going into a car dealer looking for a 1/2 ton truck but being escorted to the 3/4 ton trucks.
I currently own a Kubota B2601 with 55 hours on it. Previous to that, I owned a Bx2380, which I absolutely loved, but it was too small. I do plan on selling the B2601 due to some issues that I am just not happy about.

The CX will easily fit in my shop whereas the CK will fit, but not by much. I already have the attachments for my B2601 that would easily fit on the CX, such as a landplane and pallet forks. I am comparing the specs between the Kubota B2601 vs. the Kioti CX2520, and so many of them are very close. The lifting capacity of the loader is of course, important, but right now, if my B2601 can't lift it, I usually find a workaround.

One question I have regarding the CX is the PTO. On my Kubota I engage a lever to start the PTO, regardless if I am moving or not. Does the Kioti CX operate the same way?

I own 22 all-wooded acres and have a 450-foot-long driveway that I plow. I also make some trails with a rear rotary mower.
