Thanks for the grats and all the positive thoughts all.

I'm going to try to get back over there tonight or tomorrow and if so I'll remember to snap a few pics. Otherwise I'll have to wait until it comes home with me at some point this weekend.

To be honest I hadn't even been up close to one before now. One thing I didn't want was the oversize lawn tractor "look" (no offense to anyone). This one, the B model, is just about right I guess, though I wasn't opposed an L model either.

Can't wait to get her home and show her the new stomping grounds!! :)

Sounds like a good choice.

I had a Kubota B7100 that seen 3000 hours in my care. Sturdy tractor. If it has hydro siphon cooling make sure the whistle is operative and keep the rad clean. Adding rear chains will dramatically increase the pulling/pushing ability.

I'm not sure about the hydro siphon cooling. Have never even heard of it. Google time!

No thermostat. No waterpump.

Yeah I found something about it. That seems interesting. I suppose a water pump would be noticeable attached to the front of the block when I open the hood if it had one.

Would it have a temp gage if it was a hydro siphon?

The whistle is attached to a tube coming off the rad cap assembly. It's a plain simple whistle that will be operated by over heating coolant steam vented from the rad cap.

Early on I mentioned the wrong nomenclature. It should have been THERMOSYPHON!

Well I got back over there last night. It looks like Saturday late morning it will be loading up to come home with me! I did get a few pics taken while there....

Nice non weathered command center

The rubber between the treads look to be as pliable, shiny and stain free as when it came out of the crate.

Good clean shiny paint almost perfect.

I noticed this mistake as I began checking into it, but it was close enough I finally caught up to the right terminology. After getting back to the tractor again last night I made a point to open the hood and investigate the cooling system a bit. I'm guessing it isn't a thermosyphon system as I see a belt and what looked like it was probably a thermostat housing on the front of the block. Plus the radiator cap looked pretty much like any pressurized systems, though a bit smaller and didn't have any overflow looking hoses near it.
