Well I banged out the auger and bottom blade, which was a major pita. 
It's good enough for now, so I lowered the skids and re-did the upper portion of the driveway. It is much faster than plowing.
The PT4xx is a great little machine and would be perfect for this type of work if it had a bit more power in the PTO. The maneuverability is terrific and being able to lift up the blower quickly is nice, plus going forward to backward is so seamless that is really shaves off the time needed to get the job done.
