I saw some posts yesterday where a few folks were using their 3ph landscaping rake on the FEL. I would like to be able to do this.

I have a pin on bucket, and will wind up with Jery's Tach N Go. A quick Google search seems to suggest that 3 point loader adapters only come in the skid steer QA variety, not for a pin on type loader. Does anybody know of one that will work for a pin on loader to mount a 3ph?

If the answer is no, I could use a sleeve hitch with the Tach N Go and get a sleeve hitch LR. I think sleeve hitch implements are generally lighter duty, but since this will be on a bx that may be just what I need. The only 3ph landscaping rake I've ever used wasn't very heavy anyway.

It'd be nice if whatever implements I purchase can be used on both ends, so I only have to purchase them once.

I own a top quality everythingattachments Landscape Rake.

I own a Ratchet Rake bucket attachment.

From several years experience I use the Ratchet Rake about five times the hours of the Landscape Rake.

I've seen the ratchet rake, and already have plans to get it. For the price it seems like a no brainer!

You think it will completely negate my desire to use a LR?

Ratchet Rake will completely negate your desire to attach a Landscape Rake to the FEL.

One downside of the ratchet rake is that it makes the bucket almost useless. I can see that as a decent solution if you have a pin on bucket as it is easier to remove the RR. With a SSQA, it is easier for me to switch out the landscape rack when I need it.

I don't see how a RR will work like the "springy" tines of a landscape rake for some applications.

Well, once I have Jery's quick attach I'll be able to attach and detach pin on implements quickly and easily. (I'm also looking at the AI2 QA which is $325 less.) So that's not really a factor for me. I was kind of thinking the same thing about the LR. I see uses where their capabilities will overlap, but some places where a LR will shine over the RR. However for price vs storage space and ease of use, I admit the RR is probably the best all around choice for me.

I'm still curious about the use of sleeve hitch attachments on the front end loader though. *If* I had the QA with the built in 2" receiver. *And* also curious if anybody makes a pin on 3ph adapter.

With Ratchet Rake attached the bucket becomes highly functional as a rake, which is the application the OP wants to add.

The "spring" is in the resilience of the hydraulically dampened FEL arms.

Open lengthy attachment to Post #2, which includes numerous photos of raking action.

The landscape rake was but one example. I don't want to focus so much on that.

I'm still interested in a 3ph adapter for a pin on bucket, whereas so far all I have seen are for SSQA systems.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. Thanks. That's a shame that they only make them for the SSQA type buckets.
