throwout bearing direction

Hi folks, I removed my release bearing from hub on 1972 Ford 2000 and didn't notice which side of bearing was facing pressure plate. Please help

Do you have any pictures or diagrams to show what the bearing looks like? Usually the flat side faces the pressure plate. Are there any retainers holding it to it actuating arm or is it hydraulic?

Yep, pictures are worth a thousand words. But most throw out bearings, there is only one way they "can" go that they will work right.
