So where is your input shaft bearing and seal? Is it in plate 17 in the first pic? If so looks like you will need to remove both bell housing and spacer to get to it
At first I thought that the large shaft seal holder was bolted to the front end of the trans, but after looking again, I think it is bolted to a wall actually inside the trans. I was really hoping to not have to take the top off the trans (containing the shift levers), although I guessed that I would have to for the small shaft seal.

I am at a complete loss as to how the small shaft parts go in and out of the large hollow shaft. I have just been assuming that it will be evident once I actually see it.
