You are still showing a 9 rotor KK versus a 7 rotor in the Tarter brand. Ken Sweet
Well....they're both 72" so which would you prefer, the 7 rotor or 9 rotor??

The KK website I went to said this:The 6 ft Tarter has 8 rows with 6 tines per rotor and the King Kutter website show 6 ft in the parts manual 8 rows of tines with 6 tines per rotor? Ken Sweet
The KK website I went to said this:
Part No. - 505054
Description:
TILLER TINE SET 72IN
27R AND 27L
27 left tines + 27 right tines = 54 tines total divided by 6(tines per flange) = 9 rotors = 9 rows of tines with 6 tines per rotor on a 6 ft King Kutter(72" tiller)
I tried to do the same on tarter's website and in their owners manual but the info is not given anywhere. All I had to go by is the pic on your website that shows a new 6ft tiller with 7 rotors on a pallet.
I just counted the rows on my 7 yr old 6 ft KK tiller and there were 9(nine) rows= 54 tines
They have the right quantities if you click on the tine sets but they use the same drawing for every size on the website. Even the 48" parts drawing shows 8 rotors.
Here is the reality:
Model# / Width / #tines / flanges
TG-48/ 48"/ 36/ 6
TG-60/ 60"/ 42/ 7
TG-72/ 72"/ 54/ 9
TG-84/ 84"/ 66/ 11
Now, if we get all that for tarter then we'll have something to go on.
I asked the dealership that I bought my tiller from to cut the PTO shaft. They kind of looked at me like I had just shot their dog but then went ahead and cut it for me. They must have wanted the sale and I had bought the 7510 there a few years before.Does the power takeoff shaft have to be cut, or does it come the correct lengh ?
