Thanks for the pics. That is so nicely done. You get a bunch of attaboys. :)

They have freeze less faucets that are plumbed to both hot and cold. Works like a single handle bath or shower handle. Just requires a larger hole then a standard outdoor faucet.

That's good to know. Fortunately, our attached garage never gets close to freezing. It used to be warmer, about mid-50's, when we heated our water with the propane boiler which sits in the garage. It was down in the low 40's a couple times last winter. We too run a hose outside from the garage spigots.

We have one freeze less spigot outside. I open it and shut off the supply anyways. We just have no use for it in winter.

Thank you sir. Stone on the front of the house is done as well other than the caps on the columns. No pics of it yet.

Looks great. I still think you folks can do some professional design work if you wanted to.

Thank you for the comments everyone. I've got a few more small projects on the inside left to do but not much. I'll get some pics of the outside as soon as my stone guys wrap up. It's been a great experience overall getting the house built but I'm glad the work is coming to an end.

Somehow, I don't think your ideas are coming to an end. Maybe the house build is...You do have a tractor and property. :)

Beautiful! Found your thread two weeks ago and only now got to the end. You should be proud of the result! Well worth all the trials and tribulations.

One question on your ceiling fans: Did you have any problem getting them balanced? I ask because I'm on my second Hunter 70" fan and neither would run without shaking. I was leery of using Hampton Bay products, but at this point I'm going to have to replace what I've got...

Thanks for taking all the time to do the write up as well. In the years to come it'll be wonderful to look back on.
