Consensus on this forum seems to be bigger is always better, with trucks and tractors. Based on all the threads I've read here, I think my next truck will be an International CXT. I'd go bigger but I don't have a CDL.

I'll only be driving it to and from work, some nasty trails and fire roads during hunting season, and occasionally towing my CUT. A nice 1/2 ton might work fine for me, but bigger is better and I never know when I might need to tow 20 tons. Why settle for a wimpy 3/4 or 1 ton when I can get a CTX, and load it up with all the creature comforts of an Escalade.:)

Practice using the winch, specially if you plan to go offroad. The truck weighs in over 15k lbs.
