We just got this one from costco.

It is a Hansgrohe and it was on sale. We've been happy with it.

Built house in 2013,thing that bothers me the most is the flow control on all of them. We are on well, and have good pressure at outside faucets, but the ones in the house have terrible flow. Wife did talk us into a pot filler faucet above stove and it is only one with good pressure. Think because it doesn't go down drain, thus no flow control on it. Oh,they are all Delta.

Price Pfister is the worst faucet right with no name hardware store faucets. Delta is fine easy to fix and the grohe's are good but cost and may wait for a part. I liked Delta because there parts are few same over the years easy to get. The type of water helps or hurts a faucets life.

Another vote for the Hansgrohe. Bought one similar to the picture above from Costco a couple of years ago. SWMBO is very happy with it. We have had good luck with Moen. I had a Price Pfister in the shop and had to replace it. Replaced it with a Delta, which seems to be good, but does not get a lot of use.

I've used Moen exclusively for over 10 years, kitchen and both baths, no problems so far and I've been told by a hardware store owner that they stand behind their products very well. They did have an issue a few years ago with the cartridges in the bath and tub units going bad over the temperature regulation, but anyone that contacted them got a newer cartridge sent back.

If I had to get a new unit today, I'd start looking at Moen.

We bought a new double wide mobile home in 1997 that came with all Moen faucets and I was one of those who had a problem with bathroom cartridges, but as you said, they very promptly sent me new ones.

So while we're happy with our Delta kitchen faucet, I wouldn't hesitate at all to buy Moen products.

Well, I hope your wrong about Moen, cause I just bought one. My disposal started leaking through the motor seals last week, and our faucet (Kohler, about 8 years old) was on its las legs.

My Moen experience was in the early '90s, and they came from a high end plumbing supply house in the SF Bay Area. Cartridges in the kitchen and bathroom faucets went out every other year, and Moen wanted the old ones back before they'd send a new one. Lemme tall ya, when the faucet won't shut off you don't wanna wait around for a couple weeks for Moen to get off their a** and send you a new one. I ended up purchasing new cartridges, but they weren't available at the big box or hardware stores, only at the place I originally got the faucets. Lotsa fun on a leaky Sunday. Otherwise they were nice faucets.

Funny you should mention disposals. Mine went out last week and I just replaced it. It was leaking from the housing and guess what I found when I got it out?

Yep, that crack is about 2" long, and it's in a PLASTIC :shocked:housing. Even better, the local Lowes only carries InSinkerator, so that's also the replacement. The motors and housings look identical between the two, except the new one has a fat collar round the outside that's supposed to make it quieter. When the old one leaked the water caused the side panel in the cabinet to swell throwing off the alignment on the pull out trash can tray in the next bay. Now I've gotta figure out how to fix that, too. To keep it from happening when the new one goes bad, I wired a plastic painter's bucket over the bottom of the thing. Hopefully next time it'll blow the breaker before the bucket fills up. :cool2:

My wife bought some brand out of a renovation catalog because she liked the "old farm-house style" look. It was pretty cheap in price. When it came, I installed it. Noticed in the "instruction" manual numerous typos. That was about three years ago. Well a few weeks/months ago, no water was coming out of the faucet. I took it apart, some tee valve must have picked up sediment from the well. And well, the valve just was not repairable. She took the valve and the "manufacturer" name to some plumbing stores and got laughed out of most of them. Yeah, overseas brand.... So... no kidding.....I track down the "manufacturer" and find a web site with a 1-888 number, the faucet kit, and really poor English. More "red flags", but I figure, what the hey, new faucet or new valve. I do the unthinkable and call the number. Yep, really poor English, BUT, they say send a picture of the valve and they will see if they have one. A few minutes later, I get an e-Mail instructing for PayPal ordering. $20 bucks over PayPal and like two days later, I get the valve and hopefully another three years out of the faucet before I need to re-do the whole kitchen. The valve assembly is brass, but some flap in the thing looks like a plunger, obviously a filter would have prevented the issue.

I just cannot think about spending 500 bucks for a darn kitchen faucet. So yeah, cheap works in my case.

I know you don't like Moen but... I install approx. 100 faucets a year and never had a problem with Moen. When I come across a Moen that does need a new cartridge, the supply house matches it up and hands me a new one, can't ask for more than that! I've gone to the same supply house and paid $150 for a new cartridge for a high end unit. Yes I've installed many high end faucets (most have plastic internals) in quality yellow brass and chrome wrappers mostly purchased by wifey for its style and perception of quality.

We have the single-handle-pullout type. I usually use Delta products.

My new Moen faucet finally arrived Friday and I installed it, and the new disposal yesterday. Took less than an hour to install and it works fine. It comes with batteries for the motion sense feature. If you want the AC adapter, I guess you have to pay more.
