Tire bead

As said Removing the valve stem allows for More air to the tire quicker setting the bead . Also , allthough it Might not work with all air hose Quick connects , on Mine I dont use the Air thing that goes in the end of the hose , But Slip the disconnect directlly over the valve itself It allows the air in there much quicker .

During the winter months I also use a torpedo heater to heat the tire as well as soften the rubber .

I also use a cable come along around the outside of the tire . On a really big tractor tire I,m not sure this would even work , But I haven,t had to change any of them . Its worked for Me for years , on Big truck tires & Medium to small tractors . Bob

I a couple of weeks ago with an flat atv tire and used a small bike tube inflated in the bead to to stem the air flow and it got pushed out when bead started up to seat. and sealed i had tried the ratchet strap trick but it wouldn't move out
of drop center area. I'm too chicken to try the ether trick after braking a hand mounting a trailer tire with air tire 12 years ago.

Now that's an idea i'll try next time. You could even leave it on the inside if it didn't push out while inflating.

This is what I have done with all the mounts that won't take with air. I always use soapy water and slop it around bead and rim take the valve out of the stem strap the tire. Give it a full shot of air with out the air chuck (just use the coupler) push it on the air will come out. If that fails I soap it up again and hit it with starting fluid. With the valve out I haven't messed up a tire yet. Oh ya don't put your finger over the stem!!!!! Have the air chuck on and put some air in and than put the valve in. I have had to use starting fluid about 5 times large and small tires. When all else fails this has worked every time. Learned this from someone who has set hundreds of tires this way.
