Flat Proofing Tire sealant advice

I am in south Texas and have fought thorns for years. I tried foam filled tires and it works, but it beats up the tires and they fall apart after a few years. I am now using aircraft tires on the front of my tractors and they work much better. See: Agricullture Tires
I am not affiliated with the co, only use their tires.

if i lives around locust or cactus.. I'd buy high quality multi ply tires. and then boot them.. and then run tubes..

Thanks for the advice never thought about it being hard on tires ,but it does make sense. I will look around for some multi ply tires.

When I bought my new Kubota, I paid a little extra and had the dealer instal Firestone 10 ply tires all around. Probably totally unnecessary because the only thing, around here, with thorns are rose bushes and they are really tiny. The big "tire monster" here is the razor sharp basaltic lava rock. If I slip or even slightly spin a tire - I almost always assured the rocks will slice a nice chunk of rubber off a couple lugs. My tractor tires last almost forever(26 years on the last tractor) but after 10 years or so the rears look like they have been siped.

I saw a recommendation on here to use liquid laundry starch, instead of Slime.

Bought some, but haven't used it yet.

I use ultra seal from Gemplers -- works for me -with mesquite & prickly pear-- says it's milspec.
