I'm getting a little tired of cleaning up the mess made by dripping female quick disconnects on the lines run from my second rear remote set up to my FEL grapple connection point when the grapple is not mounted with hoses connected. Whether or not the hoses are connected at the rear remote set, I get a constant dripping from the aggie-style female quick disconnects even when plugged with those rubber caps/seals.

Do others here just live with the dripping? Or has anyone switched over to those expensive, flat-face, skidsteer-type quick disconnects? Or is there an even better (or cheaper) solution?

That doesn't sound normal to me. Both of my tractors have quick disconnects, and none of them leak when nothing is connected to them.

Im unsure of your meaning in the bracketed area above. There is something wrong with those females, but, do the couplers leak when coupled?? If not, for economy, Id dead end some males and leave them plugged in as terminations when the couplers were not in use.

Houston, we have a problem........

Mine do not leak. Sounds like you might be in need of some new fittings, seats have gotten messed up somehow? Not sure if the flat face ones are worth the $$$

It is quite possible that these cheap TSC components are not up to snuff. I doubt they are damaged or defective in the usual sense... maybe not just of high enough quality to not leak when not under pressure.

Hi Larry - I was just trying to say that the front female couplings leak when they are not under pressure... whether or not the opposite ends of the hoses are connected (or not connected) to the rear remote set.

Multiple QD here no leaks. Only problems have been the occasional O ring that needs replaced on the female connector.

Mine are the flavor that JD uses.

TSC sourced. You may be onto something, there.

Hi Brian - I'm just surprised at the amount of leakage I'm getting out of these "dead" (unpressurized) hoses & couplings. I guess you guys are right. I may simply need better quality components.

That amazes me that your hose fittings leak with no pressure. Time to get some new fittings.:(

Good luck
