Like someone else said the bar tires ride just fine. All 8 of my tires are bar/lug tires. The people that had the 1445 before me kept the 26X12X12 tires inflated to 21 lbs. and I think the rim width is 10.5 in A lot of rims look similar, and have the same bolt pattern, but the center hole is different. I believe a Ditch Witch tire will fit my machine. I have purchased some tires and rims off Ebay. New stuff, half what PT would offer. If you mix tires from different manufactures, and mix different plies, rolling distance will differ, and the ride will be different. If you are going to mix tires, such as lug tires on the back, the rolling distance should be the same. To check this, a fiberglass tape around the center of the tire will measure in inches. Make sure that all tires have the same measurement. If you want to check foot print, some soft dirt will give a good indication of tire print. Lug depth should be same from center to side. Adjust tire pressure to give best tire print. You may not realize this, but when you pick up a heavy load, and move it , the foot print will change, and the tire could be operating at its max load range. The load range is different for the different ply tires. and the pressure for safe operations varies.
Fourteen came up with a different tire pressure for the front and back in an earlier post.
