Titan Attachments Experience

I bought from both EA and Titan, both worked out well and the equipment was great. I recently switch my tractor from pin on to that SSQA using titan's adaptor (the red one pictured above). All in all its very overbuilt for the tractor I used it on (32hp) and would be great, probably even for and older skid steer as far as strength. I cut a lot of metal off of it to lighten it up to not take away from my lifting capactity and It worked out wonderfully. Welding the plates on the buckets is nothing, just cutting the ears off cleanly take a bit of work. I say I maybe have 8 hrs into cutting ears off of two buckets, converting a pallet fork setup over and welding/ painting everything. Definatly worth it. I also didn't want to pay 900$ for just the QA setup. I think I have like 600$ into the adaptor, and 3 mount plates from Titan. That price, I could swallow a bit easier.

If i ever convert another bucket i will cut around the brackets thru the back of the bucket and use the 2 "windows" for additional welding.

That's a good idea. My bucket has a lot of patches anyway. Thanks. My only worry is that my bucket is curved where the pin attachment is and the Titan attachment is flat.

I got mine from palletforks.com (site sponsor, pretty sure they are Titan). The ears that the pins push into on the bottom of the SSQA interface were way out of spec & would barely engage, much less tighten up correctly. Emailed them along with a photo & got a reply surprisingly quick. They would ship me a new frame or a $70 credit (for a local welder to fix things). I welded a couple pieces of bar stock up myself to tighten things up. Decent product at a cheap price with good support.

I purchased a grapple from Titan and had the same issue that the lower ears were way to long and out of spec. I had to cut about 3/4" off and weld it back up so the pins would engage. They responded quickly when I notified them of it but kinda set me off since there is a detailed specification about this dimension and they chose not to follow it.

I bought a SSQA hitch from Titan, back when they were called "atvxpress" on eBay. Despite being clearly laser-cut and very well made, it did not quite fit the SSQA. They took care of it immediately and had it fixed.

Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. I think it may have been a shipping issue or something as like I said, it was clearly well made.

Just got my Titan 48" Pallet forks today. They fit like a glove, nice and tight no slop. Maybe they have changed things?

They must have, my 48s fit a little loose, but not bad.

Ordered set of Titan 48" pallet forks last Friday. Received a call from R&L freight mid day today. They will be delivering right after lunch Thursday. Asked them to make sure that rear of forks was facing rear of trailer so I could just drive up to back of truck with tractor and hook onto the SSQA with tractor. They said no problem.

Did this when our grapple was delivered to Ranch and was EZ-PZ. Hooked up to grapple's SSQA and yanked grapple and pallet. Paper work took longer than unloading.

Hello All

I'm looking to buy pallet forks for my wood crates that I use for my syrup business. Does anyone have any experience purchasing attachments from Titan? Their product seems very well made and the best price I've seen for locking, 42" fork set.

:ashamed:I got the 4,000 lbs with the stabilizer bar and the shipping was very fast and easy to hook up and I know I will embarrass myself but I was to excited to put them on and the wife was saying go get those logs and I did not tighten them up. So when I made my first dump with then on they slipped off and fell into my burn pile and the wife just laughed at me. Lesson learned the hard way but I do love my forks and the wife loves when I put the generator on a pallet and drive it to the front yard so she and I can have power when we need it. The photo is my titan's somewhere in that pile. 1006131335.jpg1007131427.jpg

At least the burn pile was not burning. We have all done similar things, don't feel bad.

Well ..... That will certainly make it harder? Guess I need some pallet forks to unload my pallet forks?

HMMMMM?

Yup, that's how they shipped mine also.

I put a couple of chains all the way thru the pallet and lifted it up with the loader.

Yeah, that would work.

Thanks!

My father-in-law & I were easily able to manhandle the frame upright to attach it, then the forks to attach them. I might have even been able to do it solo. 2000lbs rated forks are only 250lbs or something for all 3 pieces.

I think that the 4000 lb. with 48" forks is about 415 lbs.

Once I got the pallet on the ground I was able to stand up the frame and put it on the tractor by myself, and I'm getting old. I haven't really used mine yet but they look nice on the LS, and fit nice and look heavy enough for my use. I can just see the tips on the 48" without getting up off the seat if it just lean forward a little. I think I need to put a paint mark on the leveling rod (about 3" down) so I can tell when forks are level.

Received my Titan 48" pallet forks last Thursday. Delivery truck came right to ranch. The PF was strapped to a pallet but, we cut the metal bands, driver held the PF back plate up vertical and I hooked up to it with my SSQA, lifted it up a few inches, driver rotated SSQA locks, lifted forks onto back plate and done. Backed up and ran forks into the pallet, lifted and reversed. All told, about 10 minutes from time trailer door opened until closed and driving away. Driver understood SSQA attachments which made this a simple quick operation.

Did same when my 84" grapple was delivered last year.

This was way better than dealing with a freight terminal and I am now a "business with a fork lift".
