Which grapple do you have ? I looked at the tomahawk. I just would prefer the dual cylinders like on the titan, or everything attachments 200# grapple

I've got the 55" EA grapple, it's been great so far. I really like the full width lid which makes grabbing stuff that you can't approach head on easy.

yes, I really like the single lid. The cylinders and lines are tucked away on the sides making them more protected than the ones that mount on top.

The fact that it only weights a little over 200 # means it doesn't reduce my loader lift capacity .

They tested this grapple on a 61 ? hp tractor and it seemed to hold up fine .. I will be installing it on a 50 HP tractor

Yeah they did a nice job of hiding the lines on the back of the grapple.

Yea, talking about two different types of grapples here.

I was thinking the Kubota HD round bucket was like 370# or something.

LD1 Your a LOT closer than I originally was - I was wrong, the reference I just found listed it at 400lbs (HD 72"), and 465lbs with the cutting edge bolted on. I been looking for a 84" mulch/trash/snow bucket myself so I figured I would get an idea of what my normal one weights.

I'm looking at their hydraulic flail mowers that seem to be a very good price. I think they're a new product for them so I haven't actually found anyone who owns one yet.

I've also been looking at their tree puller.

The Titan equipment (with very few exceptions) is all imported from china. The flail mowers are all over Alibaba and imported/sold by a couple other vendors (like Betsco) - Best I can remember they are selling the AGL and AGF series mowers.
You can search here for those models as well as Betsco to see the discussion on the products. I remember one thread where a fellow that works for/with one of the manufacturers in China said that there are different factories putting out the same equipment so quality can vary from factory to factory on the same model mower.

I have been interested in them myself for quite some time (long before Titan carried them & I even contacted Titan about carrying them). My take on what I have found so far is they seem to be of decent (not top or premium) quality for the money. There are certainly better / higher quality mowers on the market (at twice the dollar cost) and only you can decide which one(s) fit your usage & budget requirements.

My thoughts on buying a grapple when I was shopping.....

Buy cheap.

I don't need a monster 1000# grapple that cost $3k
I don't need a super engineered featherweight for $2k+

I need simple and effective. So i took the approach of $1000 will buy me 400+/- pounds of steel, all cut to shape and tack welded in place, hydraulics included.

Knowing full well that I may have to fix bad welds, add some gussets, or repair some stress cracks after some hard use. Was worth it to save thousands IMO.

The fact that I have had to do nothing and have used it pretty hard.....that's a bonus for me.

The rake-type grapples wouldn't work well for me. I like to watch on to the end of logs and drag them, or pick them up by the end for bucking.

This one is about 4" on the small end and about 10" on the big end and about 25-30' long. Makes for easy bucking

Seems like you could do the same thing with the wicked grapple. I don't plan on ripping roots out of the ground, just moving trees, and brush. I have a bucket thumb on my yanmar. I'm just looking for something different for the Kubota

Hummm, you started this thread asking about Titan Attachments, and it looks like you have steered this thread as a sales pitch for EA. And I have noticed hundreds of threads doing the same thing. Just seems all to common on TBN. something smells funny as some one is using many fake user accounts to control the narrative for sales.
