New Holland TN65
I am looking at a TN65 New Holland and was wondering if it is strong enough to pull a lime spreader, a 15ft seed drill, 10ft disk, 10ft bushhog, and 6 ft rotor tiller? Also, your guess on the value of one that is a 2000 model 2wd with 1800hrs and loader in great shape.

My TN65 does well pulling a 12 ft batwing, so it should do well with the equipment you have listed. I bought it 3 years ago for $15,250. It's a 2003 model, had 1400 hours, FEL, included installing a 3rd function, grapple, bucket and hay spear, delivered.

No on the disc. Hard stop. If you do some looking around, you’ll see recommendations of 5 to 10 hp per foot of disc. The TN 65 has 48 drawbar hp. On top of that, the tractor doesn’t have the weight. Fully ballasted it specs out at 5700 pounds. You would be looking at an 8 foot disc tops in light soil. Modify all this if all you want to do is smooth out some already tilled fields. Not if you want it for primary tillage. As far as the planter, are you talking no till or standard drill? My 6 foot no till weighs about 4000 pounds. I pull it with 100 hp tractor but could get away with a heavy 6000 pound tractor. So it all depends. Brush hogs don’t suck up that much horsepower so you should be fine, and with the tiller, just go slow. I’m pretty sure I would want creeper gear. It sounds like you plan to do some farming. I think you would do well to look at a farm tractor. In the new Holland lineup, I would be looking at a workmaster 75 or a power star 75. Would do everything that you listed and would not beat it to death.

My 67 Ford 3000 diesel pulls 8 foot discs and it's a little less horsepower. And it's at 5026 pounds.

We do the work we need to do with what we have. The OP is considering a new tractor and has specified the work they need to do. Best to get the right sized tractor at the outset, not the bare minimum. We all know that we ask more of our machines than we originally thought. I started out with a a 73 hp tractor and a year later replaced it with 100 hp. And, as others often mention, weight is a critical consideration. It’s also important to remember that a disc is not a disc is not a disc. Moving from an 8 foot to a 10 foot disc is likely going to be a much heavier frame and have larger diameter discs that will cut more deeply. Like I mentioned in my earlier post, it all depends on what you want to do with your desk. if you’re just smoothing some flat previously plowed fields, the TN 65 and a 10 foot desk might do it but it will strain the tractor. Absolutely no way that tractor will do primary tillage with a 10 foot desk. I have a farmall 856 that would work Hard, pulling a 10 foot disc for primary tillage in average soils

True and I agree. I have lighter sandy soil.
