Read thru my owners manual a couple times and for the most part it all makes sense exc the capacities table (pg 4-39 Replenishing). The quantity heading is in gallons/L but some of the numbers underneath don't make sense. For instance, an oil change w/ filter is 19.81gals or 7.gL! For someone who's changed oil is the 7.5L (appr. 8qts) correct?

My CheckChart manual list the TN75F at 10.5 liters or 11.1 gallons, other TN75 models are 7.5 liters or 7.9 gallons.

It also list all the other fluid capacities, I would just need to know what TN75 model it is. A D, F, N, S or V.

My TN70 takes exactly 8 quarts to the 'full' mark at every oil/filter change.

From the service manual (and also my experience) on the TN the oil capacity is a little over 7 quarts with filter. I actually usually just put in two gallons as this seem to just bring it to the full mark on the dipstick. The TN is a little funky since the oil filter which is mounted up side down seems to drain down when not in use. I notice this when I remove it during an oil change and there is very little oil in it.

If you have not changed your oil yet then you will need to buy, unless you already have a 12mm allen wrench to get the darn oil plug out of the pan. This should come with the tractor. I did my first oil change about a month ago took exactly 8 quarts. New Holland sells there Ambra oil in 2.5 gallon buckets, go figure. I will probally use there oil until my warranty is up then to delo 400 which I buy in 55 gallon drums. Guess once I do 4 oil changes all I will need is a filter and all the left over oil as my tractor does not seem to burn any oil so far.

Yes, I know! I got the wrench w/ some other misc pieces but I think Ill opt for something I can stick on my socket driver. IIRC there are other places that allen wrench gets used.

You can buy it by the quart and if I recall by the barrel. The 2.5 gallon container is just an average size container that the average person can handle. They don't design their containers for one particular engine.
