Price Check TN75 price check & some questions

No 75As or JX1075Cs close enough so it had to be ordered. The dealer says itll be here (in the US) some time in late Sept. Not sure when itll show up at the dealer though.

BTW if anyone is interested in the TN70 now might be the time to look at one. According to my dealer NH is giving incentives to lower their stocks. It seems theyre not moving as well as other mdls.

It arrived finally, actually showed up last w/e but not in time to prep and deliver. LOL...the driver said he'd be there first thing Sat morning but didnt show until lunch time.

I seem to have that recurring misunderstanding w/ truck drivers. When Im told 0700 it never occurs to me that its noon theyre talking about.

BTW I punted the 2wd order and found one identical exc w/ 4wd in MO. I figure 4wd will come in handy someday.

Sat evening after work I dropped by my dealer and found the tractor out back at the repair dept door. It looks *exactly* like every other TN so now you know what it looks like.

Also saw the chopper I bought. While the finish isnt snappy like the big brands it looks like itll hold up. I was surprised that it has w/ a couple tail wheels, was expecting only one.

I have work all lined up for it! Ill be glad to put my string trimmer to lighter duty.

Congrats on the new tractor jimg. I'm sure you will like it more all the time. Good that you got 4wd it sure is handy. Looks like you ended up getting the PS tranny, also a good choice. Did you get mid mount remote cause one of these days you'll want to hang a loader on that thing unless you already have another tractor with loader on it already.

Thankfully work is intensely busy right now so I dont have much time to think about the tractor. Fri comes quicker that way anyway.

Im sure I will like a lot! Up to now Ive 'controlled' the weeds w/ a string trimmer. Its been a fair amt of work esp since it been so hot.

Yes, after I started thinking about it 4wd made more and more sense and the end of Sept seemed like an eternity given the amt of work that was piling up. As for the PS transmission I wanted it from the beginning for the wet clutch. No, dont have mids or plans for a loader. Im sure a loader would be handy but I have hay equipment to buy and needed to save some $$ for that.

Despite the missing weights I mowed w/ it Sat noon and...WOW!!! This is great having such a time saver. Even w/ 4wd the nose is light though and needs weight before messing about in rough terrain/hills.

I found the power shuttle a bit different based on past experience. The Deere power reverser will slow the tractor, shift and then accelerate. OTOH the NH PS just makes the change and almost instantly youre going in the opposite direction.

I made that mistake just once.

I really like my Rollins mower. I think its as good as the major brands but just not as expensive. When I get a chance Ill post some pictures. Theyre local which is a great advantage but Im not sure how widely their equipment is distributed.

Trust me, you'll make that mistake many more times than just once.
Or maybe it's just me.

I hope not...I think (at least sometimes) I can learn after the 1st lesson.

How is visibility w/ a cab? When I was mowing Sat I had to dodge some trees in the lane between the barn and field + run right along side a ditch w/o falling in. At the time I thought having an open platform made the job of seeing much easier. I cant say though that Ive ever driven a cab tractor so I have no frame of ref.

I was a little freaked at first too
But after you get used to the cab, it's great (esp with lots of windows like all the new ones)
and some things, you just stay away from.
You did get a radio right?
