"Part time business? Been over two weeks since my first email, gave them a phone call yesterday, no reply yet."

I have really hesitated about posting to this thread and still don't know if I'm doing the right thing or not but here goes.

Integrated Engineering is Jim McCuan's full time business endeavor. It is a small business and he is it's heart and soul. Unfortunately, Jim is involved in a serious medical emergency situation with a family member and is currently unable to be at our beck and call as he normally is.

I would hope that we could all be understanding of his situation and appreciate that he does have his priorities in the proper order and is acting accordingly. I'm sure he's doing the absolute best he can for his family right now and trying to keep his business going as well with only 24 hours in a day.

Any of us who know Jim from his many contributions here on TBN or who have done business with him as I have know this is not the way Jim does business but the result of something totally beyond his control. I know Jim would never want to use his situation as any kind of excuse so I thought I'd stick my neck out and explain a little of what's really going on.

Re: TnT: Kubo ata\'s vs Integration Engineering, Part 2

Gary,
Jim wouldn't use that as an excuse, as you well know. It's probably all he can do right now, trying to keep the home front settled.
I'm sure he will respond to everyones concerns, as soon as he's able.

Re: TnT: Kubo ata\'s vs Integration Engineering, Part 2

Thanks for the info, I really like the looks of the IE top link and the way it is setup. As much talk as we have about setting up and using the hydraulic top links, I was supprised that there aren't more places that make and sell them for cat1 hookups. If I was a good welder and had the equipment, sounds like a good way to make extra $$$ selling thru TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Again, thanks for the info

That's what I want, want to send it to me for testing? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Notice that the hoses look real long, could it work with shorter hoses?

Re: TnT: Kubo ata\'s vs Integration Engineering, Part 2

I think they are too long. But they can always be shortened. I just have a bungee holding them up out of the way.

Re: TnT: Kubo ata\'s vs Integration Engineering, Part 2

Gary - thanks so much for the post. Like Mike, I was somewhat frustrated Jim had not responded. I have emailed him on other things at other times and he has always gotten back within a day or two. With this info, I will certainly be patient as I fully believe family ALWAYS comes first. Thanks.

Re: TnT: Kubo ata\'s vs Integration Engineering, Part 2

Inspector - I'm sure you can answer at least one of the questions I was going to have for Jim - what is the length of the top link in the shortest and longest positions?

Like Mike, I have contacted Carter and Carter in hopes of getting one from them. They are, indeed, out of stock.

Re: TnT: Kubo ata\'s vs Integration Engineering, Part 2

8561,
The top link is 19" from center of one eye to center of the other in the closed or retracted position. It is 27" center to center fully extended. So you get a total of 8" of stroke on the cylinder.
