To cab or not to cab? Tired of being cold snow plowing

I went from a quad to a quad with a windshield, and that was very nice.
Then I went to a half ton with a blade, and that was incredible!
Then I bought an old jd 30hp (forget the model) with fel, no cab because I wanted down pressure.
Then I bought a new 2014 jd2032r with a fel, wanted live PTO, again no cab. Basically only warm weather, which here means no colder than -25c and no wind.
Then I bought a couple payloaders, and finally found a 2012 Massey gc2400 with a cab and snowblower, only 68 hours on it for $7000 CAD. It has a very good heater for the left side, but being a sfot cab there are always wind leaks so I installed a 12v aux heater behind me right side.
I will never run without a cab again.

I have both an cabbed and uncabbed tractor, and each has it's advantages. Nothing beats a cab in the heat of summer sun or the cold of winter. There is no doubt I can use the cabbed tractor longer with less personal fatigue due to being out of the weather. There are cases when I prefer the non-cabbed; 1) when spot spraying weeds. The cab just gets in the way. 2) Hooking up implements. It is just easier to see what you are doing when on the tractor and get to the controls when you are off the tractor.
But if I only had one, I'd keep the cab.

I keep warm and dry while plowing snow by wearing my snowmobile gear. It makes a cheap substitute.

My kioti cab makes hooking up implements easy. The hst peddles can be maneuvered while standing outside cab for minor adjustments. Add to that the telescoping 3 point arms and the outside, rear mounted 3 point lift control handle.....easy peezie.

I have a Kubota 2650 with factory cab... very nice, tight and warm in winter, cool in summer BUT still very noisy...
