To chain or not to chain that is the question.

I've got a L3400 with an 8' meyers frame mounted and V-Bar 2 link chains make that thing an animal since it has the pesky R-4's. The 5083E also got the "duo-track" V-bar treatment and it has R-1's. They were pricey ($300?) but man, you can't beat them on anything of hill after a couple plowing's and there is a hard slick pack of snow and ice. I'm debating about getting them for the rears on the deere as well. I think they are almost $700 for those! :shocked: We have had a few unhappy people stuck in the driveway, the real problem is one of our township access roads is like a ski slope! I've had a couple people already ask for a tow up it lol.
