I just thought of this, sorry it's night so pictures are dim using a flashlight.
Every tractor needs a toolbox, and I added one to my John Deere. After trying different things I got a zippered canvas bag from Harbor Freight, about 14"x8"x6". Large enough to hold wrenches, pins, couple screwdrivers, etc. I mounted it under front of seat using the factory hardware and large fender washers. It's out of the way, I use it all the time. Nothing worse than getting away from the garage when you need an adjustable wrench or Clevis pin. 20180422_205330.jpg20180422_205404.jpg

I think I get the idea from your picture. Take one in the daylight and post that. Advantage of your canvas bag - tools in the bag probably won't rattle around and become annoying. Out here in the country - a roll of paper towels is a critical item for "multiple uses".
