I don't think so Tom,everyone has you covered.
Only things I can think of,is make sure it has the new style lower 3pt arms.
I'm sure it will though.
IMO,I would have them add a block heater. Mine only added around 70.00.
Oh man what an unbelieveable difference in cold weather starting.

Funny you should say that. I called him every other day about something.
Do you know what they charged you for the tooth bar?

Greg

I asked him about the block heater and he said I didn't need it?? It does have the new style arms on it also. The tractor is already sitting there in the rain, I told him my tractors don't sit outside.... he said they don't have room to put it inside... :( The toothbar im not sure of? I traded my cub cadet in on it and asked him to throw the toothbar in if I bought the tractor that day. I know the JD version is $398, he said there was some after market versions a little cheaper.

Im thinking about buying a blade from everything attachments... Just not sure? The John Deere and Frontier blades are way expensive for the ones that offset tilt and angle. Just not sure if I want a 6' or 7' I have to be able to plow in the winter and cut the ditches in my driveway. I am not sure how far past the tractor a 6' or 7' blade that is offset will stick out past the tractor?

Tom,that is weird he would tell you that. If you aren't keeping it in a heated building,I would strongly recommend the heater. I would just tell him I want it anyway.

Gave him a call this morning and told him that I wanted it! He told me again that he usually don't put them in but that's fine he said, so its going on the tractor!! My only question is..... is this something you leave plugged in or you just plug it in a little before you are ready to use it? Thanks!!!

Also does anyone know if they sell an armrest kit to add to the stock seat? It is one of the things that I really liked about the little cub cadet was the folding armrest.

Mine sits in a unheated shed, I go ahead and plug it in if its 30 or below. Dont take too long to warm up. I would say you plug it in a hour before you use it, will be good enough. 2 hrs and it will start like its been run all day. Block heaters are cheap compared to the cost of the tractor, and if you live in a region where it gets cold, go ahead and get it!!

Good deal on the heater Tom,and as newt stated too,it could be below zero and she'll start like it's July!

Being mine is in the barn which is about 400 feet from the house,I have the block heater outlet on a breaker I can throw from the house.:)

Well kind of a bummer.... I had to let the rototiller go on the deal, the boss put her foot down! Hey I would rather make sure I get the tractor with all the other stuff for now. I can always rent a tiller or buy one next year! Plus I still have to order a rear blade somewhere yet....

How do you set the deck height on mower? Does it just ride on the little wheels?
