I am going to build a tooth bar for my 72" Kubota QA bucket (for 35 HP tractor) and I can't seem to decide on what size of tooth to use; specifically the shank size. Some bars have 1" shanks and others have 1.5" . Question is what size is preferred and how to match with tractor/loader power. I am thinking of using the 1.5" but this might be overkill for the tractor/loader combination I have?
