I'm planing to buy a tooth bar for my 54 inch bucket. Who builds or sells a quality tooth bar? Any tips will be appreciated.

Lots of members here are very happy with their Markham toothbars. WR Long and Berlon Industries also make nice products. Berlon makes a "mini tooth bar" specifically designed for small compacts. Hope this helps. Also, if you do a search in here for "toothbar" you'll find all kinds of threads.

I just bought one from Markham a few weeks ago. Good price, good quality, quick delivery and easy installation. It made a world of difference when using my FEL.

One nice thng about Markham is that they will build a TB to your specifications. I also have a 54" bucket and asked for 2 extra teeth (which made it 7 teeth across instead of 5). They did this nominally and charged me just for the teeth as I experienced a delay with them. They can get really backed up and seemingly dissappear not answering calls or emails. Melissa is quick to apologize when this happens and remains above board. Some companies give a ceaseless amount of excuses as to how and why they screwed up your order and unlike Markam, do nothing to square things. They may get delayed but Melissa trys her best to maintain good customer service.

That was fast deliverd the following Monday. Now I just have to wait a couple of months for the 2 feet of frost to come out of the ground

I have a 48" bucket and have a tooth bar manufactured by United Steel Works. I have had the bar for about 3 years and have beat the living s***t out of it without a problem. Ichecked Ebay and they are still selling them and as a matter of fact they are less money now than I paid 3 years ago. Also, we might mention that there's a few threads on here where folks have built their own and are quite happy with them. Do a search for toothbar and you'll come up with a few builds.

Does anyone know if this is the same as a TISCO tooth bar? My dealer stocks a 5-tooth TISCO bar for the 48" FEL, but I cannot find information on it anywhere. For that matter, I cannot find a tooth bar on Woods' website either. I would like to see some pictures or hear some experiences with the TISCO before I put one on a BX25.

I looked at a tisco tagged toothbar at a dealer and it was stamped woods on it.
