Howdy guys,

Where is a good place (on line) to buy a tooth bar? I'm looking for one to fit a 84" bucket, that bolts on the side of the bucket.

Thanks, RedDog Kioti DK65

I got mine from KC Canary as an online purchase. Just call 800-920-7097 and ask for Mark Bruckner. He'll take good care of you. I bought a toothbar with replaceable caps for my 61" JD bucket for $266 shipping.

The toothbar was from a manufacturer in Illinois and was shipped directly to my door. I'm very pleased with mine and think you'll be as happy with one from them. When you talk with Mark, please tell him I said "Hello." /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I bought mine through Carver Equipment. Good service, good price and fast delivery.

ditto - bought mine from carver, fair price and good quality.

FCC Attachments. Good quality. Grips the bucket cutting edge nicely, ie no slop. Comes with hardware (bolts, washers and nuts). Find a local distributor, order it and have it drop-shipped to your door. Mine was like $300 for a 66" bucket including shipping. Check them out at: http://www.ffcattachments.com/

FCC is who made mine, too. A bunch of good old boys in IL who make a really quality product. Even though I bought from KC Canary, the toothbar was shipped direct from FCC.

You fellows that ordered/bought a toothbar from FCC. How long did it take to arrive? I have a toothbar on order since 11/15/02 (not from FCC) and it still hasn't arrived yet.

Dave,

Have you called them and asked why it is taking so long?

I must be the impatient type, but I expect things to be shipped within a couple days of ordering them. Unless I am told it will be different and agree to a delay.

I know my dealer told me he gets his tooth bars in a few days of ordering...

If it were me, I'd probably check and if it was not in transit, or going to be shipped real quick, would cancel and go somewhere else.

Also could take longer if it has to come by means other than UPS or FedEx I suppose...

I called FFC today and was told that I would have to go through a Case or New Holland dealer to get the Heavy Duty Bar. He said about $600,, (I thought the bucket was included with that price).

Carver Eq. told me $360 plus $75 to $100 shipping for the 84" HDtoothbar.

Dave,

Mine was an odd size for them and I'm thinking even with the custom work cutting down a 66" to 61" for me I got the thing within a week or ten days of ordering it from Mark @ KC Canary.

i got mine from carvers, only took 6 days shipped direct from manufacture(WR LONG) don't know why it would take 5 weeks? i would call them and find out why.

Hey RedDog...

I think you'd be hard pressed to wear down a "standard" duty toothbar on any utility tractor... besides the "heavy duty" model is about twice the weight... you could use for lifting in your bucket... /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

If you get a chance, take a look at a standard by itself and you'll be impressed... then when you see the heavy duty... you'd think it was a toothbar on steroids... /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif

Like Gary has said... give Mark a call @ K.C. Canary and about $330. plus freight (~~40.) delivered to your front door in about 10 days for a 7' standard duty that is anything but standard... /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

When you get a chance... tell me about your super Turbo charged Perkins in that Kioti of yours... in my estimation... that's one of the finest, fuel sipping, torquey, 3 cylinder diesel powerplants ever built.../w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

John,

I ordered one through my dealer. He has yet to treat me wrong.

"When you get a chance... tell me about your super Turbo charged Perkins in that Kioti of yours... in my estimation... that's one of the finest, fuel sipping, torquey, 3 cylinder diesel powerplants ever built"

I have to agree with that statement!! /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif. The Perkins is one of the reasons I bought the Kioti. I talked to my Massey Ferguson dealer about Perkins before I purchased the Kioti,, he had nothing bad to say about them.

I was looking at a 5210 John Deere but the $$$$$ difference was to much for my liking.

I have nothing bad to say about my 65 /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I sell FFC toothbars & can have them direct shipped to you. They make them to order. They say 2-3 weeks , but usually it doesn't take that long. I'm about 25 miles from the factory in Lee , Illinois & do keep a 4' & 5' in stock. Contact me at sheaftractor@coiinc.com

For what's it's worth to anyone who wants to know what the FCC toothbar looks like, see my extra heavy duty toothbar attached to my JD HD bucket in the attachment. I bought mine from Mark Brucker at KC-Canary.

Also, note in the previous attachment that the FCC toothbar can be made to accommodate buckets that have the bolt on cutting edge.
