Toothbar From H&H Mfg.

Well, to muddy the waters further, Henro was kind enough to provide me with some info on his toothbar from H&H Manufacturing. Now THAT is a TOOTHBAR. Don't get me wrong, Markham is nice, too, but I want the "V" plate that covers the entire length of my existing cutting edge. I think it will be more rigid and wear and protect better. The only problem is now I cannot get their local reps to get me pricing. Two of them said H&H won't make a tothbar to fit a 48" bucket. H&H said they sure do. Now, I can't get the local reps to price it for me. They want me to go with THEIR suggested manufacturer. Probably a mark-up thing. Has anybody had any problem putting toothbars on their buckets? In particular, the cutting edge on the bucket on my B7510 actually curls up about two inches vertically at each end, so the cutting edge is actually "radiused" at the ends. I am concerned that the mounting bars on each end of the toothbar will not be allowed to sit flat on the bucket bottom because they will be sitting on the curved cutting edge at each front bottom corner of the ends of the bucket. Thoughts anyone?

I got the same toothbar. If you normally use a dealer that doesn't sell their products you could ask them to order it. That is what I did. I did not go through one of their listed dealers.

On the radius edge thing I don't know but it sure sounds like it could be a problem. My bucket is not like that.

A little grinding to the top inside ends of the "V" bar should allow it to fit over the cutting edge of the Kubota bucket.

You might try calling H&H and telling them that local dealers are refusing to sell thier product to you, and give them the details, and ask them to supply it directly if they are not able to provide you will a local dealer for their product...

I don't know if this will work or not...but I must say I do like my H&H toothbar enough that I would do what it took to get another as long as the price remained reasonable... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Henro do you have the landscape toothbar or the regular toothbar?

I am looking at their landscape toothbar for my NH. There is no toothbar on that tractor. I have a regular toothbar on the B2910, don't even remember where that came from. I'd like to know if any who uses the landscape toothbar likes it?

I have the regular one. Someone here has the landscape one (forget what they call it but it has a tooth about every four inches on center) and I remember he was pretty satisfied with it.

I too have had the same response from H&H dealers. They dont seem to want to use H&H tootbar, why ? I think I will take Henro's advice and call direct otherwise Markham's product is looking better & better. With a 48" bucket do you think the extra thickness is required ? Just curious.

I REALLY like the H&H because of the "V" that covers the cutting edge, and finally got two dealers to price it. WOW! markham may get it after all. H&H is $390-$400 shipped to the local dealer for my picking up! Markham is $260 to my door. That's the Pat's EZ Change money difference! If I was digging rocks or shale, I could see it the extra, but I'm just grubbing roots and digging bushes. H&H won't sell direct. In Illinois, there are too many dealers to go to! Darn it.
