When I was looking, I went to a used dealer near me and looked at just about every brand there is. They sell a lot of tractors there and it's not uncommon to have 40 or 50, or more, tractors to look at. Kubota and Deere both seemed to hold up pretty well. Some other brands surprised me by had worn out they looked with less then a thousand hours on them. I have no idea how abused they where, but the difference was significant. After months of looking at used, and then brand new, I went with a brand new Massey Ferguson. There are 2 dealers closer to me, but the one I decided on is younger, motivated and putting a ton of money into building up his dealership. So far, I'm very happy with my choice.
