Yup I agree, that is what I intend to grid out, but it's (the tree spade) sitting out in the field where the last bracket broke - thus the rain problem & the blessing of patients that comes with beer.:licking:

Well, had a much better day today. Moved 12 trees and all is still intact. The A&I part did not fit exactly and I had to grind out the connector on the tree spade adapter to get it to fit on. But it got done last night in prep for today.

Took it easy going over bumps etc. I do think I am at the limit of what the 3 point hitch can handle for the 2755, but I seem to be back on track. So here's hoping all goes well tomorrow too. Thanks for your help

I was looking for some other information and came across my old thread so I thought I would post a final comment for anyone you may read this in the future.

Everything has gone really well with the new bracket. What we do continue to find is that the bolts always loosen off. We put a line on each bolt head where they should be (this line extends onto the bracket) Typically refereed to as "indexing" the bolts. This way it is easy to tell when they have moved.

The bolts will not move for about 7 trees may be all day, then for whatever reason, they back off a few degrees. Would could Locktight them in but have not. I fear that if we did and a bolt head broke off they would be really difficult to get out. We just check them every tree and tighten as required.

I still think I am at or just past the max weight that I should have on this tractor and that more then anything is the cause of my concerns.

The Buamalight product has performed really well to date and they are a good bunch of people to deal with. Hopefully no one will ever have the same problems as I did and this post will go unread for a long time.
