Was there a modification made by someone to the towing hitch on back of the 1430 or higher models so you can put some sort of towing adaper on the back and pull a standard trailer around the property? thanks

I welded a 2 in receiver on the back of my 1445. I think Fourteen and several others have done something similar.

Not sure if you are referring to mounting a hitch without welding but if so there is an extensive post on this somwhere. If this is what you are looking for I'm sure it can be found - I did somewhat the same to be able to tow my dump trailer from the rear. It is a two inch hitch cut down in length and shaved on top and bottom with a new hole drilled vertically to allow use of the existing pin.

Did a bit of research and think it may have been Fourteen who first did the hitch for the rear. I tried to find the series of posts where pictures were posted of the entire process but can't seem to find them. Perhaps someone has a better recollection than I and can point you in the right direction.

Don't know if Fourteen was first. I think I may have beaten him. I cut off the pin hitch and welded a Reese 2" hitch across the back. I think the pictures may be in the modification forum, since PT didn't have one back then.

You may be right about cutting off the pin hitch but I think Fourteen did it the way I did without cutting off the pin hitch but inserting the tube between the the existing hitch and pinning it from the top. Thus it is removable, required no welding and can be reverted to the pin hitch.

Yes that exactly what i'm looking for. I don't have a welder but seeing that picture you supplied means i can figure out how to make one like it. thanks again.
