Has anyone fabricated a Dozer (like a Struck) from the running gear from a zero-turn mower?

Not recommended if you are going to use it as a dozer as those motors aren't meant for pushing like a dozer does and WILL blow.

Too light. I've got all the hydraulics from a skid steer we scraped that would be a good candidate though.

You would be better off with some low torque hydro motors

Check out this link. I used a zero turn pump which connected to hydraulic motors. The motors turn the track.

Just read your thread on your dozer build. Good advice and great pictures and letting you know I thank you for the link. Nicely done. Good build, just can't say enough good things about it. Hope the OP has the time to go take a look at the build. Thanks.

By the way I'm glad these old threads got resurrected. Sure worth reading.
