Yes it's my video clip. That's an old Carlo Pesci backhoe made in Italy in 1970's. When I got it it was in very bad shape so I took it apart and fixed everything. On the end it's a good machine but waay too heavy and with a too small reach. I've sold it soon after this video. We speak Croatian language .

I guess many will follow with interest. I'm curious on the pin and bushings, and if you plan on using expander bolts somewhere? On our Chinese made backhoe (LW-7) some bushings start to show substantial wear despite being well greased.

Are you using MAG welding with Mison gas? What amperage setting you're normally using here?

Yes, I use MIG and a gas mixture of Argon&CO2 . Here they call it Feromix or Crystal...

Since all the parts are getting pretty heavy, I had to make a little shop crane to be able to rotate and move them around... The crane is made out of scrap that I had lying around and it's not really finished yet. Also, I finished the kingpin, made a thread on one end of it and started welding the boom swing mechanism:

Apart from the great design and craftmanship, I love the fact that BFreaky just casually mentions that he "had to make a little shop crane..." - I love it ! BFreaky makes the tools, in order to make the equipment that is originally considered. Way to go BFreaky. Genius at work !!! I love the creativity and problem solving. ... yes, this one-off production backhoe is going to be a monster. :thumbsup:

Where do you think he comes from ? just because he writes English as good as you, doesnt mean he cant be bi- or trilingual like most averagely educated Europeans

Oh, and soviet is not a language. a whole bunch of languages are spoken in the former soviet union

yep, she's welding all night long while I sit, watch a game and drink lots of beers... but shhhhh! don't tell anyone hehe

When I found that youtube I checked out some other 820 videos including tractor against tractor. Looks like a good machine. One was towing around a log trailer with a log picking boom, dunno what you really call it. It had a telescoping arm for extra distance and folded up neatly. I thought the telescoping boom would be cool on your hoe.

I speak American English, Canadian English (eh?), Australian English, and UK English. I can manage German English but sometimes struggle. I can read and write Jenglish (Japanese English) but have some trouble speaking it.
