Never seen that type of trip mechanism before; I like it!

Will it provide enough tension to grade soil?

In order to grade soil, one has to put 4 bolts in upper hole (picture one). On other pictures this hole is covered by springs so you can't see it. That locks the trip mechanism and then you can do hard work.
