Kioti CK30 HST
Has Kioti solved the distribution problems with their CK 25 & 30 models yet?
I have ordered a CK 30 and there seems to be a question of how long it will take for the dealer to get one. There is also a question of obtaining a spacer for the R4 type tires to keep them from rubbing on the fenders. Any information on that?

I have to admit I am not known for my patience and the wait is hard. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

you're talking to the king of impatience - so believe me, i feel your pain.

i ordered a DK55c 1 month ago - expect delivery tomorrow. i can't speak specifically about the model you're looking for, but here's what i learned after ordering mine:

- the move to the new facility caused some problems. i expect that with the move came the transition to a new ordering system; merging an old computer system with a new one is bound to have problems that are unexpected.
- shipping seems to be getting back to normal; not sure if this is a result of the move, but there seemed to be some confusion about what company(s) kioti was using for shipping. this is likely not entirely kioti's fault, it's likely a combination of high fuel prices and the lack of truckers coupled with the chaos of the move to the new facility.
- supply and demand. the demand for kioti is HUGE right now, i have confidence that they're ramping up production to keep up, but patience is the only way to get what you want.

i personally picked the kioti over the 'buta because of a # of factors, not the least of which was price and value. unfortunately the rest of the US figured out how great these machines are..

best of luck with that machine - if you're looking in the VT area, i swear by my dealer.. ken valenti in keene, nh

good luck!

Thanks guys. I feel a little better about the wait. I had a Kubota B7500 which is a great tractor but we found a little to small for the work it is doing. We started looking at upsizing to a 30HP unit. After looking at K's, NH's, and JD, we happened to pass a Kioti dealer. We stopped "just to look". Then on to look "at the real tractors" some more, BUT we kept coming back to the Kioti lot. Then the dealer came out with the key and it was all over. The CK30 has so many standards that are options on the others. The operators area is very well thought out. And after using a tractor for 3 years I was aware of what I needed. This is it. I will post picts when the big day arrives.
Thanks again.

WE purchased only a Kioti box blade with the tractor. Awaiting it's arrival at home are a Woods back blade, a Land Pride RFM, a KK Landscape rake, a Woods Rotary Mower, and a Woods 7500 BH. The BH will have to wait until Woods releases it's sub-frame mount for the CK30. I e-mailed them and they said it should be released in the 3Q. We are then going to change the backhoe over to use the tractor hydraulics instead of the PTO due to condensation getting into the fluid tank over the course of a year.

Well she's here. And to prove it here's the picture. That was not to bad a wait. Shes at the dealers at this point.
Now I have to wait until Wed for delivery. And there is also the case of the wrong size bucket. I ordered a 54" and it was shipped with a 60". I will have to wait until Monday to see how that works out. I move a lot of dirt and I belive that the smaller bucket would be best for this kind of work.
Will post more picts when the big day arrives.

It's just my opinion, but I see nothing about using the 60" bucket that will be detrimental to your dirt work. The CK30 is strong enough to handle the extra contact area, and you'll move more dirt with the larger bucket. My CK20 handles the 54" just fine, so a 60" on your 30 should be too. John

I guess I was thinking more on the lines of break out force. Like the difference in backhoe buckets for removing stumps. We have a line of willows to remove and the subframe for the backhoe will not be available until the end of the 3rd quarter of this year (they estimate).

Nice machine! I wonder if the step would fit my 20. Anyone have any thoughts? Cptdave
