That makes a lot of sense. I’m on the other end of the spectrum, 3 years after buying a hydro I still find myself using the clutch. I also found myself stalling it more in the beginning... when it starts to lug you push down on the accelerator, right?THIS is precisely why I'm only shopping for a hydrostat tractor. My daughters will be learning to drive it too, and if things get weird, just lift your foot. It's not 100% foolproof, but it helps when neither of them have ever driven anything with a clutch.
