Imagine what they would think if the men who signed the United States Declarations of Independence could see what the US govt has become today.
If you follow history, most of those signers were advocates of federalism, not individual states as the path forward for the new country. That’s why they went on to establish a Republic after independence.

It’s very stressful. There’s not too many places left to go. I have been praying a lot more lately and placing my faith in The Lord. We are controlled by evil forces. The pocket supercomputer is one, our leaders are another.
You may want to invest in hard assets. Land, Gold, Silver. Once this recession hits this fall, it’s going to get very difficult.
I've been investing in assets I can grow food with or help people growfood. Last year it was chickens a disc and a plow. This year I bought a new used tiller. And a few other implements and a trailer.

If you buy the implements right they're going to make you more money than your money is in the bank I bought a teller a year and a half ago for $1700 and sold it yesterday for $2,200.

Not anymore. I believe prices have peaked. Just as inventories of tractors and vehicles are building, so are used items for sale. I believe we will be seeing the largest sale in history by the time the next recession gets rolling. People went nuts spending, and they're going to put it up for sale in exchange for money to pay the bills.

Far as I can see the 'recession' is already rolling just fine. GDP is at just over 1%, a good indicator of it.

 Visit the center for disease control. Playing out yes. Played out? Over? Gone? Not yet.
There are still hot spots in the US, even places with high infection rates. It is still a deadly virus for the old and compromised. Friend's brother is still dying from the blood clots. A result of catching this 'cold'

Oh my, really, the CDC says it, oh well it must be true then! They would never give any bad or inaccurate information. Nor would the FDA. I know COVID was real, lost my FIL to it. Now we know, had he been treated with ivermectin, or even horse de-wormer, he would probably still be upright. But that didn't make anyone any money so that quickly got squashed without doing the research. Then once they decided they had enough money and the data was clear from other countries using it that it did work, they ok it as a treatment. Too late!

Nope the medical community, the FDA, the CDC and the Fauci establishment (All the big Pharma) saw to it that everyone was mis-informed on treatment so they could make a ton of money. Which they did. They incented hospitals to put people on respirators and gave them a fat check for everyone they killed as a COVID patient. Lets not give them a cheap and affective treatment lets put them on a vent (oh we get money for doing that too) pump them full of Remdesivir

How can a rational society not see what was happening there? How can anyone with half a brain not see through all of that. When has the government ever paid for dead people from a certain disease. Like a bounty on rats.

Oh, I know you can go "fact check" that and find reports that it is an unfounded hype that it was killing people. But I can only go from what I remember and saw. My FIL was doing well and seemingly recovering, they put him on a vent and gave him Remdesivir and the next day my wife is telling me he isn't going to make it. There is a reason why the "Myth" is out there that it is killing people.

Oh, look who profits from administering Remdesivir!

I will say I've never gotten the 'jab' and my wife got Covid but I never did. Natural immunity, maybe. Test myself quite often, always negative. Virus don't like me I guess.

Could be right but I think it may be regional. I too see more equipment and tractors than even 9 months ago. Stuff is still selling around me. I notice the prices to be much cheaper in southern Ohio, KY and TN. In Central Ohio there is a lot of $$$ compared to the rest of the state of Ohio.

I agree that a lot of it is regional and also believe more than we know is simply media driven to get viewers and sell advertising. I hear on the news and read in this and other places about recession, bum government, and sure ruin to come....but we don't see it out west.

In the western US we got hit hard by covid, not so much by poduct shortages. Nothing at all like what I read on TBN about shortages of tractors, implements, feed and seed, fertilizer and building supplies.
We had a few shortages at Home Depot, but back in stock by the end of the week.

It's true that costs have gone up and the ways to get around costs - walking or carpooling and such are totally inconvenient - but when costs go up so do wages so it seems more even.

Like you say, much of it is regional.
