Go for it :D! You will probably find that the 2210 more than meets your needs. Many times it is the skill of the operator not the tractor HP that makes the real difference in getting a task done. I do the same things now with my
29/23+ HP tractor (with FEL) as I did with my 13/11+ HP tractor (w/o FEL) for 20 years on my property. I just do things a little more quickly and efficiently and I can approach my tasks differently. You might have to rotary cut a little slower and/or overlap cut a little, but a lot depends on what you are cutting. I would jump on this opportunity . Jay

Did you thorougly exhaust your search for the larger models? There might be one near your price point. The 2210 sounds liek a good deal, and you might find that you really did not need the additional size after all. I went from a 4100 to a 4310, and I just cannot get over the comfort, the reduced time to handle my jobs and the additional power. however, I got a great deal in trade for my 4100!

Always make sure that there are no outstanding UCC liens on the tractor filed at the state or county level. If it was financed by JD (or others) chances are there is a lien filed on it which means that you may not legally own it even if you pay for it. To avoid a nasty lesson, check at the state, county courthouse, dealer or an attorney for some insight.

.

Yes as long as the hours don't rise too significantly then it should be a good bargaining tool.
