... fell as gracefully as he could and landed softly in a thicket of multiflora rose. Sure, he was scraped up a bit and those thorns were causing him great discomfort but he was alive! Having seen his life flash before his eyes briefly he swore he'd never again...

...use the Flamethrower 6100. Just then Muhammad saw him fall and rushed towards the scene in his Kubota Gran L. Muhammad mashed down the brush with his FEL, and he hopped in the bucket. Together he and Muhammad were in hot pursuit of the flying thieves in their quest of the elusive Stump Puller 1000...

...while Marsha, who was already in the bucket, kept a keen eye out. Meanwhile, coming down the road in the opposite direction was Peppy the dog, being carried by grandpa, who in turn was being carried by Brunhilda, who was being chased by the pack of wolves, which in turn was being chased by a truck full of aluminum siding. They...

...all ran for the Kubota. Brunhilda tossed grandpa and Peppy into the front bucket. There was just enough room left for them. Brunhilda hopped in the backhoe bucket (good thing it was the 36" bucket!). The wolves eventually tired out and backed off, while the aluminum truck was hot on their heels. But wait! After a while the aluminum truck slowed down too. It had run out of gas! Now things were looking up, and they pressed on...

...wondering what could possibly happen next, This was truly beginning to turn into a soap opera for them all.
Marsha's eye was beginning to no longer be as keen as it had been in past posts.
Muhammad stood up and announced that no longer would he or his Kubota....

....be able to persist in the chase as, alas, though he had gotten a sweet deal in the East, he quickly discovered that a full load of fuel did not come with the deal. Thankful of no bleed injector pumps, saddened at the inability to maintain the chase of the Stump Puller-stealing yellow jackets, and grimacing at the painful realization that he had attempted to stand before unfastening the new Kubota THREE POINT seat harness, he fought back waves of nausea as he simultaneously and deftly raised his bucket and dipperstick to save John, Marsha, grandpa, and peppy, and Brunhilda from a renewed attack by the pack of wolves who had appropriated a tractor named for one of their lesser cousins, and were tottering dangerously closer, snapping and growling, challenging the similarly colored L series upon which our heros hoped their salvation rested.

Suddenly there was a loud Pop! and Muhummad became keenly aware of why old hydraulic hoses on abandoned attachments should be thoroughly inspected before being subjected to the stress of raising Giant Germanic Goddesses. "Never fear!" cried Brunhilda, as she deftly pulled a set of TresCrows' highly polished and insanely accurate gear wrenches from her apron........

...and proceeded to repair the broken hydraulic lines right their. As the wolves got closer, she could feel there every breath. Just as they were ready to close in for the kill, she fixed the lines and they were off. Muhammad put it in high gear and they were gone. After a while of driving with the wolves close behind, he turned down a deserted road. He zig zagged and before he knew it he had lost the angry pack of wolves in an orchard. They all climbed off the trusty Kubota Grand L. Muhammad had to get back to the east coast and they said their goodbyes and parted ways. John, Marsha, Brunhilda, Grandpa, and Peppy all wondered what to do. They started hiking through the orchard. After a while they heard snarling and growling. It was the wolves! What were they to do now? They started running hoping against hope some miracle would occur. After running for what seemed like ages, they neared a wooden bridge going across a stream. On the other side were more rows of trees and... what's this? Could it be? It... it... it was! There, sitting there ever so beautifully, was the blue shine of a New Holland TC45D with FEL and backhoe. John hopped in the driver's seat and started the beautiful machine. Brunhilda and Marsha hopped in the front bucket. Grandpa hopped in the backhoe seat with Peppy tight in his arms. How were they going to elude those pesky wolves? Will they ever get the Stump Puller 1000?, John thought. He put it in high gear and mashed down the HST pedal. They were off and with the wolves still on their tail...

...grandpa grabbed a couple of levers to hold himself in the seat. When they hit a bump, the backhoe bucket moved out. Grandpa desperately moved a couple of other levers to try and get the arm back in, and the bucket started to swing from side to side...just as the lead wolf came within range. Grandpa swiped him upside of the head with the bucket! Hey, this works pretty good, he thought to himself. They were starting to feel comfortable, still chasing the flying Stump Puller 1000 and knocking off the occasional wolf that got too close, when a truck pulled up alongside with a sign on the door that said "TBN Tactor Police". "Pull over," demanded the truck's driver, "you can't carry passengers on a tractor!" So, John...

 

[Durbob]

Decided he would "Bluff" his way thru it and told the tbn police that he had found the people stranded on the road on his way into town on his tractor for his weekly Bingo game. The tbn officer gave him a funny look , but decided not to press the issue so he said you can go. But the next time i see it i'm gonna..........

look the other way because you nice folks look like you have been having a hard day. John thanked the officer and slowly....

...eased away, only to find he had bumped the shuttle shift lever, and he started to back over the tractor policeman's truck. "Look out!" cried Marsha as John...

Received a flashing email asking if he needed to add inches to his manlihood. **** that no call list. So he promply responded...

...after consulting with Marsha about which box to check and clicked on "send".
Marsha was snickering as John....

....had not clicked the send button, but had actually formatted the hard drive. John nashed his teeth and threw the cheap, Antarctic made, computer in the bucket of the tractor. You never know when you will need a wheel chock, said John.
They headed for home and the trip took them by some unsual sites and people. They saw a man driving fence posts completely through the earth and a women chiding him for doing so! They had to stop and see what Garry bought and take a ride. Then there was the man with the ever expanding barn. He must have raised chickens because the neighbors kept talking about hen row.
All of a sudden they saw ...........
