I've never even considered buying birds from them or anybody else who gets them in without pre-ordering. It costs me a bit more but I like my birds to live. I also stopped having birds sent to my house because too often they have gotten here dead. (That's another story altogether; some are trying to stop them from using the mail service to ship chicks.) I was in TSC last night though, thinking pretty much what the guy in the link was saying; the birds looked unhealthy and lethargic. I'm just an amateur, but have raised enough poultry from chicks in the last 10 years to know what they should look like; and also when they aren't very healthy.Tractor Supply is getting heat for the birds they are selling. This popped up on YouTube today. This is a popular channel for homesteaders and he laid it all out for everyone to see after getting the run around from TSC.
