I went to start my L3800, click on the glow plug then turn the key to the right, I hear the click but it won't turn over. Clutch is in, I even put it in neutral which I never have to, checked the rear PTO to make sure it was off. What am I missing?

First, check all battery and starter connections (including grounds) for corrosion and tightness. Then try it...
If that doesn't work, jump from another, known good, battery.

Thanks Roy. I did put a battery charger on it and it was reading full. I jumped the clutch safety switch, still won't start. I'll have to pull the battery terminals and make sure they are clean and check the starter/ground wires like you said. It's a new machine, 10 hours on it, 2 months old so who knows. Maybe someone forgot to tighten something?

10 hours? Let your dealer handle it.

I thought about it, but to get it up there, they have to pick it up since I don't have a trailer yet and they charge $75.

Have you checked the solenoid? If it's that, sometimes a slight tap on it can solve things. I did say 'slight tap'.

At 10 hours operation and only 2 months ownership...I think I'd insist they'll pick up the transportation costs. Can't hurt to call them.
Whatever you do, do not disassemble anything or any other work that could void your warranty!

Did you check all the safety switches (PTO, Seat, etc)? I have accidently left the pto on.

have you tried to rock the HST pedal back and forth a bit while holding the key in the start position. There is a sweet spot.

Rock the speed control pedal. There is a neutral safety switch associated with that. If it is going bad you should be able to rock that pedal and simultaneously turn the key. She should start if that is your problem. You should should also push in the clutch pedal while doing this.
