Wow !! Log length wood delivered up here is about $100 a cord give or take. That is cheap.

Bush cord ??? I have heard that before. What is a bush cord. To me a cord is 4' W X 8'L X 4'H. Can be 4' bolts or split fire wood or anything else.

Seemed like a good day to start blocking up the firewood pile that I skidded out earlier.



I touch up the chain with a file every tank of gas or so. There is a saw vise on the back of my bucket.

That's around half the price it is here!
Maine is supposed to be the most % forested state in the union, hard to understand the huge $ difference.
Even with over 700ac. of woods, I'd think hard real hard about buying my logs at that money!
