Those are some nice big logs.
This morning was probably my last trip to the saw mill for a while. We have plenty of snow and ice but it is 50* this afternoon and the roads and trails are falling apart fast. Nothing but warm weather forecast for the next 10 days with a big rain this weekend. So unless winter comes back I am done until the end of mud season.
My half buried log pile.

Not a big load but I thought I better get rid of it while I can. The mill yard can get muddy and they shut off.

Not much wood, but I would tear up the timber if I got serious about it. I've only had the tractor for 72 hrs so far, and it's muddy and covered with horse manure when I took this wood run just for fun. The axe is kinda special too, for those that care about such things.

The "axe" looks like a Gransfors-Bruk splitting maul? Looks very similar to my G-B axes, except that it is the heavy splitter.... The axe is kinda special too, for those that care about such things.

In the Aussie hardwoods, splitters don't seem to last long enough the way I use them to justify buying a good one, and my splitter is now diesel/hydraulic and claims 42 tons
Very good axes those Swedes make, a delight to use, easy to sharpen and seem to hold the edge as well as can be hoped for.
I sell a little wood. I don't buy logs for what I burn myself. That's the way to do volume 94BULLITT! Do you sell firewood, or is that for your own use?
